The Digital Transformation area is responsible for the assessment, readiness evaluation, strategic transformation plan design, and tactical execution and implementation of the organization's digital technologies to improve employee and customer experiences, operational efficiency and productivity. The Digital Deployment focus specializes in actively planning, coordinating and directing all digital related activities including operational plans using strong technology skills. Interacts with solution architects, software engineers and others to coordinate technical activities across various projects and platforms. This job family is in the management level category and is below the executive management. Incumbents in this job family are typically responsible for directing and guiding the work of teams and/or individuals. Typically incumbents would be responsible for performance reviews, pay reviews, and may have hire/fire decision making authority. In limited instances, incumbents in this management job level category may also be responsible for a functional area and not have people reporting to them. There are different levels available that provide clarity on contribution expectations based on knowledge, application, problem solving, impact, collaboration, and supervision.

Working at NTT

Digital Transformation Management leads the organizational change management to support the Digital Office strategy implementation across the business; planning and driving the execution of change management initiatives, activities, and programmes.

You will consult with executive stakeholders to develop and drive a global digital change management roadmap to meet strategic objectives. The role provides strategic support and guidance for digital transformation projects and initiatives. You facilitate, and serve as a lead, for the planning and execution of multiple digital change initiatives to enable the business to achieve objectives. Engage stakeholders to monitor the progress of digital change management and transformation, and measure return on investment. Drive alignment across multiple initiatives to develop an integrated view of related activities.

Digital Transformation Management, working with stakeholders and partners, builds and promotes the Digital Office and GBS reputation internally and across the business to enhance the buy-in for digital change management and enablement activities. You ensure consistent brand alignment, raise awareness of the vision and strategy, share success stories, and manage perceptions.

Key role and responsibilities

Leadership, relationships, and planning

  • Establishes, integrates, and maintains a proven industry standard digital change management model that drives best practice to amplify the effectiveness of strategy execution.
  • Communicates with business leaders and project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure awareness of best practice and application of the standard model.
  • Understands and anticipates the direction of the business area(s)/unit(s), identifies opportunities, and makes recommendations to support digital change and adoption.
  • Provide direction for team/direct reports to develop digital change management capabilities.
  • Responsible for the executive leadership of the Digital Change Management and Enablement function, creating and executing on plans and reporting on activities in the required forums.
  • Identifies and evaluates fundamental issues, providing strategy and direction for the Digital Change Management and Enablement function.
  • Interface at executive level across a broad range of entities and interested parties, including partners, business leaders, key influencers, and decision makers.
  • Drive the digital change management culture by sharing best practices, developing, and sustaining cross functional relationships and filtering information downwards.
  • Manage the foundational budget and motivate regions and Digital Office and GBS BUs to incorporate appropriate budget for digital change and enablement activities
  • Act as a change agent and enable communication between business, clients, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead a team, their resources, development and measure their overall performance.
  • Oversee the development process from inception to completion, ensuring quality throughout the process, deploy change management solutions and track programme effectiveness in line with defined success criteria.
  • Ensure the smooth transition in instances of major new digital projects that affect the organisation and individuals by anticipating change and planning mitigating programmes and strategies.

Drive strategy execution

  • This role will drive the execution of NTT Ltd’s strategy across the Company’s matrixed business environment to support efficient organizational changes in the way we work.

Requirements: Education, Training and Experience

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification
  • Formal change management certification
  • ITIL Foundation Certification

Experience

  • Expertise in change management, technology adoption within a large-scale multinational technology services environment
  • Experience as a people manager, leading and developing both direct reports and matrixed team members
  • Stakeholder engagement and management at all levels
  • Hands-on experience in driving adoption projects / programmes for a large organization
  • Digital consulting approach
