The Website Strategy team manages Akamai's digital properties, showcasing value and expertise to customers, employees, and investors. Their aim is to provide an engaging digital experience that attracts, engages, and retains the target audience. Operating globally, the team collaborates across functions to manage development requests and ensure a seamless experience.

Partner with the best

We seek a full stack developer with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) expertise to craft scalable user experiences. Your role encompasses the entire software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with internal teams including IT, User Experience, Design, Campaigns and Marketing Automation.

As a Website Developer , you will be responsible for:

• Implementing latest technologies on public website, enhancing user experience with semantic standards-based code for various features.
• Creating design and technical documentation for ongoing development and maintenance
• Assisting and guiding other web developers with adding new capabilities on the website
• Integrating off-the-shelf web applications and/or integration with third-party APIs to interface with the system
• Developing and executing unit tests for personal features, reviewing team tests, and performing code audits for quality.
• Helping Content Authors with creating new and/or updating existing component and page templates in CMS

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Have 4+ years of website development experience, including responsive sites and data visualizations with JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3.
• Have 2+ years AEM experience with Java Content Repository, Sling framework, Apache Felix OSGi, Digital Asset Management, workflows, charts.
• Be proficient in creating/ updating model classes, extend AEM HTL components using HTML/CSS/JavaScript and React framework
• Have 1+ years of experience developing Python/PHP applications.
• Be an expert in Client Side Libraries and Core components while having good knowledge creating Data Visualizations.
• Have experience with Agile Methodologies & Tools, Scrum, Confluence, JIRA along with good understanding of the SDLC
• Have excellent communication and facilitation skills along with proven ability to lead and drive complex initiatives
