What you can expect when joining the team

Reporting to the Vice-President of Human Resources, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our high-growth trajectory by aligning HR strategies with the needs of our product, technology, and professional services teams. You will collaborate closely with department leaders to drive employee engagement, performance management, and organizational development initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.


You will also collaborate with a team of HR professionals in creating, adapting and improving our programs and processes, and participate in shaping the future state of our HR operations and business support offering.


Your daily life

During the day, you will be led to:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in all HR matters, offering counsel, support, training, and providing coaching to your business partners;
  • Display a keen understanding of the business context and activities of the departments you support, aligning HR strategies with organizational goals to contribute meaningfully to business success and drive HR initiatives that add tangible value;
  • Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, leveraging effective communication and interpersonal skills to establish trust, credibility, collaboration, and a consultative partnership approach;
  • Empower managers through strategic guidance in organizational development and change management, facilitating smooth transitions and building change-ready teams through effective planning, communication, and stakeholder engagement;
  • Identify and act in enabling managers to foster employee engagement by providing strategic guidance and support in implementing initiatives that enhance morale, motivation, and satisfaction, contributing to a positive and productive workplace environment;
  • Lead effective performance management processes, providing guidance on goal setting, feedback, and development plans to optimize employee and department performance, contributing to ensuring overall organizational success;
  • Navigate negotiations and influence stakeholders, utilizing persuasive communication and interpersonal skills to advocate for HR strategies that align with business objectives and foster positive outcomes;
  • Demonstrate autonomy, resourcefulness and analytical acumen to proactively identify and solve complex HR-related challenges, both at an individual and department-wide level.

Job requirements

Your profile

Are you a dynamic and driven HR professional known for your ability to get things done? Do you also believe that employee engagement and team efficiency go hand in hand? Are you looking for the opportunity to actively participate in the expansion of a growing Canadian company? The sky is the limit! If you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in industrial relations or equivalent;
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience as an HR generalist – direct experience supporting technology functions such as software development and product management is highly valued;
  • An understanding of the general inner workings of a SaaS company (main departments, functions, job positions, etc.) and the ability to learn quickly;
  • A natural ease in building relationships, developing internal partnerships and networks;
  • Strong communication and active listening skills;
  • A proven track-record of counselling and coaching that is both results-oriented and human-centric;
  • Strong critical thinking and judgement, paired with the ability to make decisions and be accountable for the results;
  • Strong organizational and priority management skills;
  • The ability and interest to be present in our offices, on average 2 days per week, with flexibility;
  • Because you must support pan Canadian teams, full English and French proficiency (spoken and written) is mandatory.
