Speakers

Lucia Martin Holguin
Lucia is a Software Engineer at Taxfix, with 4 years of experience,  she has gained her Front-end experience working within the start-up’s high-growing pace environment in Spain, where she has forged a strong problem-solving mentality and developed a passion for confronting challenges. In Taxfix she is working as a Front-end engineer and has been involved since the beginning in the launch of new services for users of the  German Taxfix application. 
She comes from a multidisciplinary educational background, she has a bachelor’s
degree in Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Master of Science from Leiden University. She first learn to code as a self-taught when she was on her bachelor’s degree as part of her artistic research,  and then during her master's and a later boot camp, she gained the knowledge needed to start working in the tech industry as a Front-end professional.
Outside work, Lucia is passionate about dance and music and still pursues her artistic research and uses code to create sound installations and music.


Diania Arizmendi

Diana Arizmendi is a Principal Designer born in Monterrey, Mexico with over 11 years of experience shaping and leading the creation of digital businesses. Her curiosity to explore has taken her from studying and working in a small city in Mexico to working and studying for a Master’s in Spain, to working at AKQA Berlin and currently at Taxfix Madrid. She has worked across the entire design process, from the ideation to the deployment of digital products launched by companies of many sizes and industries. From the beauty industry to the automotive and financial industry and from a small startup to Forbes 500 companies; she is passionate about sharing the learnings of her journey.


Romina Aswani

Meet Romina, a Lead Product Manager with a passion for strategy and problem-solving as well as a diverse educational background. With a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and an MBA in Financial Operations, she brings a unique combination of technical and business expertise to her work. Her 10 years of experience in Product have broadened her perspective and equipped her with valuable skills that she leverages in her role at Taxfix.
In her previous role, Romina was responsible for instructing other Product Managers “to be” and women transitioning into tech, helping them build skills and confidence in the industry. Overall, she’s a hands-on person who loves to challenge herself and try new things. She has a strong interest in mentoring and is passionate about helping others succeed.
Romina enjoys staying active through hobbies like tennis and yoga outside of work.
