In the BI Developer role, you will be working with the Analytics Manager for Huron Insight Analytics team to make impact on the data driven solutions. This role is based in Bengaluru, India, and will work with Software Development and Corporate IT, and practice resources based in the US and India.

Under limited direction, this individual is responsible for gathering requirements, creating solutions with Architect and develop the Power BI reports that will improve data driven deicsions for practices across Huron. This individual participates in complete analytics lifecycle from connecting to the data sources, following design standards and develop the cutting edge descriptive analytical dashboards and reports. In this role you will also create technical specifications based on conceptual design and business requirements and will consult with project and business teams to prototype, refine, test, and debug Power Bi dashboards.

Requirements

  • Translate stakeholder requirements into reporting deliverables, dashboards, and analytic workflows.

  • Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations aligned with design guidelines.

  • Build and maintain robust data models, including strong understanding of relational databases and joins (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, cloud connections).

  • Develop performance metrics, DAX calculations, and analytical solutions to generate actionable business insights.

  • Collaborate with client stakeholders, global teams, offshore development, and QA teams to ensure quality delivery and issue remediation.

  • Present analytical solutions to business audiences, clearly articulating business value and solution robustness.

  • Contribute to team processes and methodologies to enhance delivery quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Preferences

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of industry experience.

  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI report development.

  • Strong business intelligence acumen with deep expertise in DAX and advanced visualization techniques.

  • Solid background in data analysis and business analysis.

  • Experience working with global teams across multiple time zones.

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Microsoft Power BI Certification (70-778) is a plus.
