Job Summary

As a Sr. Sales Analyst PM for the team supporting IBM Cloud, you will be responsible to provide operational and strategic planning support for the Geo’s/worldwide team by developing business solutions to support the strategic direction of the business. The main purpose of the role is to be a strategic business partner and trusted advisor to the Sales/GTM management. The ideal candidate possesses a unique blend of expertise in go-to-market business and operations acumen, leadership, strategic thinking, analytics, communication and customer relationship management.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
•    Understands market variances, sales priorities, operational details and provides insight and recommendations to the management. 
•    Define business process and responsible for cross-functional program management, business design, and redesign to help improve and maximize bookings and margins. 
•    Support the different pillars of GTM Strategy, Sales Planning, Demand Management, Deal Execution, and Performance Management
•    Drive innovation with a focus on automation and operational efficiency 

•    Support the Sales Managment for their coverage areas. 
•    Collaborate with other sales operations members and business analytics teams to ensure the alignment of sales on key processes and programs for managing and measuring sales efforts and programs.
•    Provides information and analysis essential for sales planning and strategy development.
•    Communicates key process information, deadlines, task definition, etc, to groups within the sales and sales operations groups.
•    Manage the forecast, pipeline, and communications with IBM procurement. 

Additional, periodic responsibilities may include, but not limited to, the following:
•    Working with the Sales organization to continually identify and gather required enhancements to the existing process & Programs.
•    Working closely with Field Operations to identify and implement process improvements related to internal and cross-functional processes. 
•    Engage in upcoming projects, related to the Sales Operations & Enablement.
•    Manage the transition of the projects/work to the India team.

Skills & Competencies

•    8-12+ years of experience in business operations, finance, or consulting 
•    Experience of supporting the Sales management in business operations role
•    Deep understanding of sales processes in a business-to-business environment
•    Ability to influence without authority with strong analytical skills. 
•    Advance knowledge of MS Office (Excel , PowerPoint) , Tableau , SQL etc
•    Proficiency in using sales related tools (e.g. CRM, Sales Performance Management)
•    Agile self-starter with high levels of integrity and work capacity


Education:

BS Degree and a Minimum of 8-12 years of experience or 15+ yrs related exp.

USA and Canada Residents Only:

The base salary hiring wage range for this position which the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position in the specified geographic areas or locations, is $115k - $180k. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law.  In addition, the position may include some of the following comprehensive benefits such Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Paid Time off (PTO), sick time, leave of absence as per the FMLA and other relevant leave laws, Company bonus/commission, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s).
