Provides technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, complex software, or networked and/or wireless systems.
Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. Reports design, reliability, and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering. May be involved in customer installation and training.
Provides support to customers/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature.

Senior Software defined Datacenter Engineer

  • Be part and work in synergy with the client's IT teams on their regular activities
  • Take a technical lead role with strong collaboration with the NTT Client Delivery Manager and the Managed Services Operation team members
  • Work with multiple projects and on various technical topics at the same time
  • Improve and perfect your knowledge and expertise in the "Run" phase
  • Bring expertise to Investigate incidents and issues on our client’s infrastructure
  • Coordinate Technical team dedicated to BAU activities
  • Make propositions for infrastructure improvements and follow-up the implementation with the team and the client
  • Deliver impeccable service as part of NTT Luxembourg

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS

  • Higher degree in IT or Computer Science (or past experience)
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the field
  • English is mandatory, French and / or German are an asset
  • You demonstrate: planning & time management skills, good verbal & written communication, ability to adapt, analyze problems, think innovatively, customer orientation

Knowledge or experience of IT Infrastructure in general, in particular, we appreciate if you have knowledge in the following:

  • Storage and Datacenter Expertise (DELL Hardware, DataDomain, Unity, vSAN etc...)
  • VMware ecosystem knowledge (ESX, NSX…)
  • Backup systems (preferably VEEAM)
  • Windows Server Management (Active directory management, DNS, DHCP, GPO)
  • Monitoring tools experience (preferably Zabbix)
  • Nice to have's: Ansible, Azure technologies, Powershell, BASH Linux
