At SIA enterprise, we develop protective measures that harness Akamai's real-time cloud security intelligence. You will help us build a world-class scalable backend platform. In this role, you'll collaborate with multiple teams to build cloud cutting-edge cloud services and environments for the SIA Data Platform.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Building a world-class scalable microservice backend platform to ensure a robust, stable, and high-performing environment
• Writing reliable, efficient, secure, and scalable code.
• Collaborating with various engineering teams, Data Science, product, and operations to develop one of the most innovative components of the product.
• Coding primarily in Python or Java, demonstrating proficiency in one languages.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have good experience in object-oriented software development
• Demonstrate experience in Backend Development using Python, Java, or comparable (GO/Java/C#/C++/Rust)
• Have experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native environments
• Have experience in development within microservices architecture
• Have the ability to learn and become proficient in new subjects quickly.
• Experience working with one of the following technologies database: ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis
• Experience working with one of the following event streaming technologies technologies: RabbitMQ, Kafka, Amazon SQS,
