Who we are

 

 

We are seeking a hands-on Tech Lead & Solution Architect to support one of two product teams in an alternating leadership and architectural role. This position combines deep technical execution with solution design responsibilities, ensuring scalable, secure, and user-centric cloud‑native applications. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in AWS cloud services, modern web frameworks, and data engineering, alongside excellent communication skills to build trust with Client stakeholders and maintain high engineering and architectural standards.

 

 

What you'll be doing

 

 

  • Lead and support the product team as a hands-on Tech Lead and AWS Solution Architect.
  • Split and structure project work, review code, select appropriate design patterns, and support developers in delivering high‑quality User Stories.
  • Actively contribute to software development in a cloud‑native AWS environment using TypeScript.
  • Design and develop frontend applications using React, Next.js, and Tailwind‑based frameworks.
  • Implement backend services in Node.js/TypeScript for ETL, ML workflows, and risk insights.
  • Architect and maintain REST APIs with secure authentication (OAuth/OIDC, HMAC).
  • Ensure security and compliance, including IAM/CIAM policies, TLS/KMS encryption, and audit logging.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate in Agile teams (UI/UX, Scrum Master, PO), participate in Scrum ceremonies, and contribute to architectural reviews.
  • Participate in cross‑team synchronization meetings to manage dependencies and ensure transparent communication.

 

 

What you'll bring along

 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in software development
  • Solid knowledge of React, Next.js, Flowbite/Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript
  • Solid knowledge of Node.js and REST API design
  • Hands-on experience with AWS: Lambda, Fargate, API Gateway, CloudFront, S3, DynamoDB, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, IAM, Secrets Manager, VPC Endpoints, PrivateLink, Step Functions
  • Strong experience with APIs & integrations: REST, gRPC, OAuth/OIDC, EventBridge, SQS, webhooks; integration with OEM and insurer systems
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CDK for Terraform (CDKTF), environment configuration, Azure DevOps pipelines
  • Solid understanding of IAM/CIAM (Entra), TLS/KMS, WAF, Cognito Multi‑Tenancy
  • Proven experience with implementing and managing QPE (please ensure the acronym is known to candidates)
  • Proven experience with conducting and leading Architecture Reviews
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English; German language skills are a plus
