The Cloud Security Team is looking to add a Security Engineer - Government to their team. This individual will build and maintain software solutions that enable internal teams to interact with cloud resources and applications securely. They will create applications and tools that provide actionable security items as well as tools for other Relativity developers to easily produce secure software. They will administer our FedRAMP cloud environment by managing access and enforcing secure configuration. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Security Engineering.

Due to specific customer contract requirements, this position requires that the successful candidate be a U.S. citizen. As a condition of your role supporting the RelativityOne Government product, you are required to obtain a Public Trust clearance. The process for obtaining the Public Trust clearance will be handled by the federal government and could include additional background screening regarding criminal history, drug use, financial records, and a character assessment. If you are unable to obtain the Public Trust clearance, you will be unable to work on the RelativityOne Government product, and your employment, if still in effect, may be terminated. 

Role Responsibilities

  • Design & build security products to establish best in class cloud security.
  • Internalize software development best practices.
  • Give guidance on secure operations in a cloud environment.
  • Reduce technical debt through automation.
  • Operate the products for which the team is responsible.
  • Act as an advocate for security improvements in the organization.
  • Administer the FedRAMP RelativityOne cloud environment.
  • Travel up to 10% of time.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the security domain.
  • Interest in the secure software development lifecycle, enabling FAST secure software development.
  • Prior experience as a full stack developer for a SaaS product; experience in programming languages such as C#, Python, or Java. 
  • Familiarity with common software vulnerabilities (ex: OWASP Top 10) and their remediations.
  • Ability to take feedback and strive for continual improvement.
  • Active U.S. Government security clearance (preferred).

Compensation

  • Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices.  

  • This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus target of 10%, and long-term incentives. The expected salary range for this role is between $101,000 and $123,000. The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
