Sage is looking for a Senior Global Benefits & Wellness Manager to design, manage, and improve multi-country benefits, wellbeing, and recognition programs across the U.S., Canada, India, Romania, and Israel, with a strong focus on North America. This is a hands-on, senior individual contributor role with meaningful ownership across program design, governance, renewals, supplier management, communications, systems improvements, and business cases for future investment. You’ll be part of our Global Benefits, Wellness & Recognition team of 6 within Sage’s broader Global Total Rewards Center of Excellence team of 20.



You’ll own work that supports Sage in attracting, retaining, and enabling high-performing talent, while directly affecting how employees understand, access, and value their benefits. You’ll partner closely with HR/People, Finance, Tax, Legal, Compliance, Procurement, and People Operations to ensure programs are competitive, compliant, scalable, cost-conscious, and deliver measurable value to employees and the business.

Location Requirement: Hybrid - 3 days per week from our Atlanta office (Ponce City Market)



Minimum Qualifications

• Significant experience designing, implementing, and managing benefits programs across multiple countries, with strong knowledge of U.S. and Canadian benefits.

• Experience working in a global company/benefits team, contributing to the design and implementation of global benefits programs.

• Proven experience managing third-party brokers and suppliers.

• Strong understanding of benefits, wellbeing and recognition compliance and taxation requirements.

• Knowledge of benefits management systems (Darwin and/or similar third-party system)

• Experience designing and managing colleague recognition and wellbeing programs with an understanding of the link between wellbeing and organizational productivity.

• Strong research, analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.

• Excellent relationship builder, supplier management and negotiation capabilities, including experience managing large contracts and partnering with Procurement and Legal teams.

• Experience improving employee understanding and driving engagement with benefits, wellbeing and recognition programs, evidenced through measurable outcomes and feedback.

• Cultural awareness and the ability to work effectively across global time zones.

• Highly organized, impact-oriented and able to manage priorities effectively

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:



Design & Governance

• Design and evolve benefits programs in line with the Global Benefits Strategy, including defining and implementing Global Minimum Standards and inclusive benefits frameworks.

• Ensure programs support Sage’s broader people, ESG, inclusion and sustainability objectives.

• Provide oversight of all compliance and governance activities, lead local governance forums and engage with legal, tax and finance as needed.



Program Delivery & Continuous Improvement

• Lead the delivery of regional benefits, wellbeing and recognition programs and initiatives, ensuring they are scalable, compliant and deliver measurable value to colleagues and the business.

• Deliver on agreed actions from the Primed to Perform wellbeing strategy, focusing on improving colleague health and wellbeing, productivity and risk reduction.

• Leverage data, insights and colleague feedback to continuously evaluate program effectiveness and inform ongoing improvement and future investment decisions.

• Manage the annual renewal and budget process for all benefit/recognition programs and provide support to finance.

• Analyze plan costs and identify trends and cost containment/efficiency opportunities.



Supplier, financial and commercial management

• Manage regional supplier relationships, including brokers, consultants and benefits providers, overseeing contracts, performance, service quality and commercial outcomes.

• Conduct RFP and market checks to ensure competitive pricing, process efficiencies, meet compliance/security requirements, and focus on an outstanding colleague experience.



Systems, policy and enablement

• Serve as regional Benefits CoE lead for the country benefits management systems, partnering with People Digital & Operations team to design improvements.

• Develop, maintain and govern benefits and wellbeing policies, ensuring clarity, accessibility and effective communication to stakeholders.



Communications

• Design and execute on regional benefits, wellbeing and recognition communication plans to enhance employee understanding and engagement at key "Moments that Matter".

• Partner closely with global and regional People, finance, tax, and legal teams to ensure effective regional delivery and risk / financial management.



Business case development and project delivery

• Develop clear, evidence-based business cases for benefits, wellbeing and recognition initiatives, including problem definition, costs, risks and ROI/VOI.

• Manage or support the delivery of global benefits, wellbeing and recognition programs and initiatives, as required.



Mergers & Acquisitions

• Lead pre-closing benefits package due diligence, recommend harmonization and transition plans, establish & deploy a change management plan, and advise on aspects of benefit integration processes.
