It's always a pleasure talk talking to the woman workforce and what we do for diversity at NTT.So let let me get started to talk about first, give you an overview of us as a company, and then we'll go a little deeper into how does that what what does that mean for you in terms of opportunities and career here with us at entity? If you go to the next slide, we we always look at when we join a company, the very first probably tactical thing you look at is what's the salary put on there, and how's the company looking like from a workplace perspective? But joining a new company is always a bigger decision. It's a place where you spend maximum amount of your waiting time. So you want to look at the company as a character. What does that represent? Does that resonate with your values? That's what I want to start off with. What do we mean for you as a company? You see a lot of words over here. I'll I'll elaborate on that in in in a bit.

Our promise is always to our customers, our employees, and to our society. And what is the promise we are talking about? The promise we are talking about is threefold. One, we work with our customers to unfold what are the business opportunities which we can unlock with our consultancy services. We give them an actionable plan. And once we move on from consultancy, we get into the technology space, which is our core area. We execute technology projects for our customers across the entire OSI stack, which will realize their business benefits in the very industry that they are operating in and get them to the long term benefits. And the key to do this transformation is via experiences. At NTT, we give a lot of importance to the experience a customer has, an employee has, and the overall business stakeholders in our environment has while adopting this technology journey.

What do we want to get at the end of it? We want our customers to realize their business potential. We want that ripple effect to go on to the society and the community we operate in. And that's, in a nutshell, what we mean as a company to all our stakeholders. And we call this as a promise because we want to put it out there in the public and want to live by it. We are not a company only for profits. We are a company which is responsible and mean a lot of things to our stakeholders, the society, the customers, and our employees. K?

With that with that, let me go into a little more amount of details of we as a company, what what do we do? If you go to the next slide, Tameh, the very first thing you'll always think of is NTT. I think I heard the name somewhere. I I'm not sure. I'm not sure what do they do. Where do they operate? The simple way I would want you to recollect us as a company. Think of emojis. Emojis was invented by NTT way back in the nineties. We are a company which is more than 150 years old. We started off way back in the telegraph era, way back in eighteen seventies. And we are a company where standard and poor has rated us with the credit rating of a.

How many companies do you know in the globe which has survived for one hundred and fifty years in the telecom slash IT space and still be financially very, very sound? That's us as a company. We are big. We are big in terms of our footprint. We are big in terms of our people strength, and we are big in terms of the areas in which we operate. Let me go a little more detail into into what what it means in terms of the numbers for us. If you go to the next slide. NTT DATA is a part of the overall NTT group. At NTT DATA, we are we are about $30,000,000,000 in terms of our top line revenue. We operate in more than 50 countries as as a company.

And and we we we support the largest of the Fortune 100 companies as a part of our services interaction with those companies. And the key which which will impact or or interest you more is in 33 of these countries, we are rated as a top employer. And as a brand value, we are the sixth most valuable brand in in the IT services. So we have a lot of credibility going for us. We have a lot of skill going for us, and we have been doing business globally, winning the respect and the credibility of our employees and in the in their local markets. That, I would say, is is is a short, I'd say, the way I would like to describe ATT as a company. If you go to the next slide, I'll go to a little more level of details. What do we do as a company? Right? That's that's very, very curious question.

How do how do how do I earn my $30,000,000,000? Some of you who are technical and coming from the networking world, you'll remember the seven layer OSI stack. We are a company which operates across that all the seven layers of OSI. We land and own submarine cables which connects continents together. We own data centers across the globe. We deliver to the Fortune 100 companies across the globe, And we deliver services for connectivity to data center, to network operations, to application support services. And all of this is wrapped up by AI. AI is our core strategy. AI is not a technology in our mind. AI is the strategy, and it's always bound by security. And we are a responsible company. I'll talk about that in in in a bit.

I mentioned that we we we we don't exist to make profits alone. We we ensure we are there, which makes a difference to the communities we operate in. That in a nutshell is what we do for a living as a company. We are a services company. We don't manufacture any products. We deliver services across the layers what I just described to you in a manner the customer can work with us across the entire stack. So we are not a point shop. We are not a boutique area where I'm good at only one area, element of IT services. So that way, we can probably call entity as the world's only full stack transformation company. There is nobody else out there who can tell the story to our customers, who can talk about transformation, who can talk about consultancy, who can talk about technology, talk about adoption, and get that to life with my connectivity, with my data center, with my network operations, and application support services.

That's that's we as entity. If you go to the next slide, I'll I'll I'll talk about a little more level of detail of how do we get this capability which makes our customers work with us. The key ingredient is twofold. One, the collaboration we have with all of the key OEMs globally who support us on that OSI seven layer stack for our services. The the the capability which this gives us is I am able to craft together a solution which involves all of this OEM vendor products, wrap it up with the service, which I can deliver to a global company across 50 plus countries directly and across 160 countries using my partners.

That's the capability this OEM vendors and my footprint and my solutioning and accessibility brings to our customers. If you go to the next slide, it can give you an idea about how do we operate. We operate in all the geographies like I mentioned, but we operate as delivery centers. And 80% of the delivery centers in terms of the staffing strength is out of India. And they're delivered to customers in multiple languages, multiple geographies, add using multiple capabilities for skills, outcomes, and the platforms what we are using. Just ATT data alone, we have about 180,000 employees. That gives you a scale of our our reach and the size of our service operations.

If you go to the next slide. Now this is the most important and, I'll say, the key ingredient to our success. The first one I mentioned is our OEM partners. The second one is our people. Now everybody are everybody in the industry talks about the importance of people their company gives us or or the way they have their HR programs crafted and run. For me, the proof is in the pudding. We are rated as a top employer across 33 countries, And we have done it year after year. It's not a flash in the pan, which means I have employee policies which are friendly, which brings out the best in the employees, and makes them work in our company for a longer period of time. It's not an empty boast. This is recognized by the industry partners who who value companies which are having very strong and robust HR policies.

So this gives you a quick overview of what we are as a company in terms of our our beginnings, our size, where do we fit in, what do we do. Glory, with that, I'll I'll conclude my session.

Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening, everyone. Whoever has joined us from whichever part of the world, a very warm welcome to each one of you, on behalf of entity data HR team. So I'm Rashmi. I am, the HR leader for the network services business and entity, and I would like to give you all a sneak peek into what Ravi just mentioned. If you all just heard, Ravi, you'd have seen how passionately he was speaking about the organization. Now this is the passion with which everybody at entity data speaks. So where is this passion coming from? It's our culture that infuses passion and that fuels the purpose. So entities mission is the North Star that guides every initiative and decisions. Can we move to the slide? Yeah. Thank you.

So it it's it's just entities data's mission is the North Star that guides every initiative and decision. The essence of why we exist is not just a statement that you see on the slide today, but it is the heartbeat that energizes our employees and it inspires our leaders to take action. Our culture is deeply woven in the way we collaborate, we innovate, and we support each other through every challenge and success, thereby bringing this entire mission and vision value culture into life. Can we move to the next slide? Thank you. So when we speak about culture, what is it that entity data has to offer? So we have a culture that encourages continuous learning. We encourage continuous learning. We encourage resilience, aspirations, thereby supporting our people in the journey to achieve their full potential. We view honest conversation as an accelerator for improvement and growth.

We value diverse perspectives and teamwork, thereby ensuring that every single employee in our organization, they feel valued, they and they feel empowered to contribute. Speaking about values, now we all know that the values of an organization, it shapes the organization's culture only and this and the shaping of this organization's culture is possible only when it is honored and it is respected. At NTT DATA, our values are our compass. It shapes our choices, and it unites our colleagues across globe from various roles, location, and background. At entity, integrity, curiosity, and empathy aren't just slogans. They are the standards that reflect in our interactions and decision making. Our values that we reflect upon acts like a magnet supporting us to attract talent like all of you here, especially the right kind of talent into the organization and potentially deter others. Our values help us. It allows us to be the place where people grow. Coming about how do we lead? Now at NTT, leadership is not defined by titles.

It is reflected in how we inspire, we empower, and we care for, each other or for those around us. We lead by communicating with authenticity. We believe that the growth of our employees, it fuels the success of our organization. Empowerment is at the heart of a leadership approach. We coach, we support, and trust our teams to take ownership and grow. Whether you are a leading, a team lead or in a project and an innovation or a change or doing a change initiative, everyone is a leader in this organization. Our leadership culture is a reflection of how we want to be recognized. And with that, I pass on the, session to Laurie.

Lori, you're on mute. There we go. I'm on mute. No. No. I bet there was my silent stage screen audition. But anyway, Rashmi, that was wonderful. Thank you so much. I'm sorry you all did not hear Rashmi's wonderful introduction. But, so with this, we're going to our next session, which will be a q and a session. So I'm going to bring up, Gomati. Laurie. And Gomati, and I'm also going to bring up Ravi. And I'm going to come down, and I will let you all have your interactive q and a session.

So thank you, Laurie. Hello, everyone. Thanks for coming. I'm Gonti. I work as a principal learning and development partner at NTT DATA and have the opportunity to shape people's growth. Ravi, thanks for sharing NTT DATA's history. Very inspiring. Rashmi, thanks for beautifully summarizing our culture, mission, and value statement. We picked a few questions asked by top talent across the globe. The first question is for you, Ravi. NTT DATA invests over 3,600,000,000.0 annually in r and d. How does this commitment to innovation translate into growth opportunities for your people, especially those working with emerging technologies like cybersecurity and AI. Ravi?

Yeah. I think I think we need we need to go back to the statement what I made earlier in my presentation. Mhmm. We work with our OEM partners. We work with their solutions, and we have the depth of service delivery and coverage across the globe. Now for us to stand out amongst all the other competition we have, the only key differentiation we have is our transformation and innovation capability. Now transformation and innovation is a very, very, I'd say, abused word in terms of everybody uses that. What we do in entity is we actually invest our revenue into new breakthrough technologies and capabilities and platforms, which I can take it to my customers. And that's where our differentiation from the whole industry comes in. We have developed many first, including the emoji what I was talking to you about.

We have a platform called Ione, which speeds up the data center to data center communication, both on the optical and on the wireless side. We have our own native LLMs in multiple languages. We have our own platforms, which have been developed purely by our investments in r and d. So the point I'm trying to make is the growth for us is via the differentiation in the IP we create. It's not by sheer marketing muscle alone we can sell. We sell by creating responsible and targeted solutions for our markets globally. So this 3,600,000,000.0 is not a number alone. It's a commitment of entity towards innovation. That's the way I want I want you to read this number as. Gomti?

Thank you so much, Ravi. Wow. That answers the question. Ravi, the next one is for you as well. What is the career growth path one can look forward to at NTT DATA?

It's a it's a very, very, I'd say, key question as an individual. Right? I I'll tell you I'll tell you my own story. I started off being a field engineer in this company and grew on, grew on, grew on to become whatever I am today. The career path is a function of your learning ability, the function of you to take on roles and leadership, what Rashmi was mentioning in her conversation. You have to make a difference. We are a company wherein we'll not say, okay. You're three years in this role. You'll get your next promotion. Okay. Or you're three years in this role. You'll get your next designation. No. Growth for us is a function of your skill and your capability to make a difference in the area you're working on.

And everything has to make a difference to our customers. And our mean age in terms of the employee, I'd say, the the average tenure of our people in India itself is seven point two years. Okay? And in the India, employee strength is more than 40,000. That's a tremendous average to keep up with. So opportunities wise, there are one too many. It is up to you to grab it and make the best use of it. Okay?

Wonderful. Thank you, Ravi. Rashmi, the next question is for you. NTT DATA has been recognized as a global top employer in 33 countries. What does this recognition mean for employees in terms of career growth and opportunities across regions?

That's really a wonderful question, Gomati. Now tell me, who wouldn't enjoy being part of an organization which is which has a strong brand, global brand, a strong culture of innovation, and a track record of success. I'm sure everyone wants to be part of it. Right? So the top the global top employer certification is a prestigious acknowledgment of our people centric approach and our exceptional HR policies and practices. Now policies, when we speak about policies, I'm sure people will be curious as to what is it that we have which makes us, completely different, from other that stands out from other organization. So fact is that if we are if there's there are people in India, you would know our insurance policy, it's, above the benchmark of all the other IT industries in the company, in the country.

Second, the fact that most of the IT companies are now requesting their employees regardless of whether they are male colleagues, female colleagues, everybody to return to office, we still continue to stay flexible. We continue to have our hybrid working. So some of these employee friendly policies that we have and globally also, by the way, we have some of the great extremely competitive benefit programs that we run for our women employees, which and it's just not women employees for everybody. Right? That makes it exceptionally, and the most preferred organization globally as well. So these are some of the policies and practices that's actually not earned us, the certification. By the way, this is the second time that entity data has received this honor. And with this, we are actually placed alongside an in an elite group of 17 other organizations worldwide.

Wonderful. Wonderful to hear.

Okay. So we have another question for Ravi. Ravi, I think you touched upon this on the surface. With strong partnership across leading technology companies like Microsoft, AWS, and Salesforce, how do these collaborations open up opportunities for you for people for your people to grow and work on innovative projects?

The the important thing to look at and consider here is by working with entity, you get to work on all of this tech OEM's products, solutions, or their software. And what we are doing is we are combining the products and the capabilities of all of these OEMs into a solution which is fit for our customer. So here, if you break it down into even even more smaller tidbits, you get to take a shot at the certification capabilities you're gonna build in any of these vendors, and these are fully supported by us as a company. The second, in our learning platform, we have more than 200,000 artifacts from these vendors, from other education providers which you can learn, leverage, and gain capabilities from. The third, as you keep growing higher, it it goes back to the earlier point I was making to it links you to the growth. Because for us, your learnability is the key. We give you the opportunity to learn. You learn.

You get the certification, and you demonstrate that at a customer place via any of our service activities by being accountable to that outcome. So there is enough opportunities for you to get benefited by our multiple OEM agreements what we have.

Wonderful, Ravi. Thank you so much. I think that answers the question. Ravi, the next one is for you as well. Are there particular initiatives or communities that have helped make a difference?

Yeah. No. This is this is more closer to me. We always speak about society. We always speak about community, but the evidence for that is very much lacking in any of our peer industries you would look at. For us, this is the most important thing. I'll I'll give you I'll give you one small example. Over three years back, we went and said, we will invest in a school in our neighborhood in Bangalore. This was a garbage school, which had an enrollment level of about 160 people. What we did using our funds, we built a state of the art school, got the students to move from that old dilapidated building into this new premises with Internet, with computers, with a lot of modern amenities, including basic amenities like toilets for the girls' students, which was one of the reasons why there was a very high dropout rate in that school.

We went to lie with that school last June. Within one year, the enrollment has climbed to 258. The state education department has come back and said, we want to declare this as a model school. Now this year, they got the permission to go ahead and start enrollments for class eight and also start enrollments for English meeting. We don't just put money there. We are involved. Rushmi's team is fully involved in there, and a lot of our employees are going there to do kitchen garden, to train students on English, to train students on computers, to train students on mathematics. This has made a difference to the community there. The parents are now more than willing to send the students to the school.

We have secured the school with our operations, with security, with surveillance cameras, and a big open playground. This is, I'd say, the most tangible evidence of how do we care for for our community, and how do we make a difference in that community? One thing?

Amazing, Ravi. Thank you. I can vouch for this. Thanks for sharing how NTT DATA walks the talk and is committed to a positive impact on the society. Thanks, Ravi. Rashmi, the next one is for you. Many women step away from work at certain stages in life. How does NTT DATA help them restart or rebuild the carriers confidently?

I think all the women, whoever have logged in here, they're gonna get emotional with this question because this is something that everyone, every woman, they go through in their career. So at entity, we totally absolutely embrace a very powerful belief, which says, career break should never be a career end. It should be only a plus. It can never be a plus. We recognize that many women step away from work for, could be for caregiving, for their personal growth, or other life transitions, and that's perfectly, perfectly natural. So what matters is how we support their return into corporates. To support women in this journey, at entity, we have built a multilayered approach to make this entire transition as smooth as possible and also empower the women with confidence.

Now there are programs like career two point o, women together, global leadership program through various through all these programs or all the, various programs that I mentioned, we offer hands on experience, mentorship, and structured training. So what happens by the end of these trainings that they complete, they just don't get back to work, but they bounce back by rebuilding their confidence and capability. Besides, like I earlier mentioned, right, there's this flexibility of hybrid working there and remote working that we strongly promote. And this actually helps the women, employees to balance the personal relationships while they reignite their career. While we provide flexibility through hybrid working, remote working, trainings, we also stay continuously focused in upskilling. And, Gomati, you're the right person who can shed some light, and I'd be more than happy for you to chime in and tell us how we are able to provide some kind of an upscaling, right, through various internal platforms.

Would you like to talk about some of our platforms that we heavily leverage to train our professionals, especially return professionals.

Sure, Rashmi. Rashmi, thanks for sharing this. NTT DATA has been very supportive of, the women in digital, community. And NTT DATA is totally committed to skill and growth. I think Ravi touched upon this already. We have, about 200,000 courses, and we have partnership with different LMS platforms like Workday and Skills of Precipio. And if, employees want to, go grow to the next level, we also have career hub on Workday, which brings up customized learning as well. And, employees can complete all the learnings and build the skills necessary that is going to take them to the next level. So thank you. Thank you, Rashmi.

We'll just add one more, important point in there. Right? Well, upscaling flexibility we spoke about. Now there's something most important over and above everything is our hiring practices, which is our hiring practices is completely inclusive. We ensure that our recruiters are trained to look beyond these career gaps in their CVs and resumes and purely focus on potentials, the mindsets, and adaptability. So it's not about a perfect resume that entity data ever looks for. We always look for the person who's behind that resume. And finally, like Ravi Gomati mentioned, we pair our, returnees whoever has returned to work after the break with mentors and coaches who walk alongside them during this entire transition period. That human connection always makes a huge difference in building confidence and navigating through challenges. Gauti.

Thank you so much, Rashmi. I think that throws light on how NTT believes human is at the heart of the business. Ravi and Rashmi, the next question is about NTT DATA's mission. Talks about driving client success and creating a positive impact on the society. How do employees experience this mission in their day to day work? I think Ravi touched upon this, but can you throw some more light on this?

Hushma, would you like to go first?

Yes. I'll, I'll start and then maybe Ravi could, add more to it. So early on in my slide, you would have seen, under, the mission statement that we had. It clearly said that we accelerate client success positive we accelerate client success and positively impact society through responsible innovation. Now this is something that, like I mentioned, it's just not a tagline that we leave at the slides. It's something we leave every day. We are just not delivering services while we are service industry, but we're just not delivering services. We are building strategic partnership. Our employees are empowered to make trusted, to become the trusted advisors, helping clients navigate complexities and drive meaningful result. But what really excites is how we use the technology to create a societal impact.

Now whether it is training the young girls for tech careers or supporting the community development or innovating responsibly to build trust in emerging technologies, we are committed to use our technology for good. So maybe, Ravi, you may want to add, need to know to this.

You're from a delivery angle, Rashmi, to this. The key is we are not a company which lives by the road. What I mean by that is many of the companies you would see which are doing global delivery or global outsourcing, they're more focusing on delivering things consistently in a very, very repeatable manner. Our focus is on the accountability and the ownership you take to deliver to the customer, and there's a lot of details behind it. Every of our roles, every of our functions has a line of connectivity to our customer and the customer's contracts. And what we do in our induction and in our onboarding and in our day to day trainings with the employees is the things what you're doing, just remember what is the impact it's going to have to our end customer. That mindset changes the employee to think about ownership and to think about accountability.

It will make the employee that much more responsible in the way he or she delivers things. Services is not an exact science. Services is always about experience. Whether you buy a TV or you get your car repaired or you you go for shopping for a new product, What is the recollect value is always the experience, not the product. And that experience is driven by the way our employees interact and work with our customers. And that's that's at the key of our empowerment and the way we make a difference to our customers. Pankaj?

Thank you so much, Ravi. I think, that's just on dot. Next question is for Rashmi. Be the place where people grow is a strong statement about entity data's culture. What does that look like in action?

Excellent. So here's something that I always talk in all my forums. Right? At entity data, if you're just looking for a job, then you're wrong. You need to look for a career in entity data because we support that. Growth is embedded in how the way we lead, the way we collaborate, and we innovate. We encourage continuous learning and experimentation with leadership training, gen AI upskilling, personalized development plans. Our managers play an extremely crucial role in empowering teams and fostering accountability. We also create, honest the space for honest conversations so that any every employee who comes to their leaders with their views, we incorporate that, and they feel valued with that. They feel respected. They feel valued because they are contributing to the strategic, objectives of the organization. Our culture thrives on inclusive collaboration. Across borders, our collaboration is not limited within a particular geography. The collaboration goes beyond, the borders and backgrounds. Every voice matters, and that diversity fuels creativity and resilience.

All our leaders are expected to inspire, empower, and care. And growth and, learning is always the, the the base through which our leaders are inspiring us. Our leaders are in continuous learning mode every time. Anytime you talk to any of our leaders, you'll always hear them passionately talking about, upskilling themselves, learning this, learning that. And with AI, Chen Yang being the buzzword, every other employee in our organization is now embarked onto the journey of learning. So there is continuous support. There is, empowerment given for learning. There are opportunities given for learning. And internal mobility is one of the key, platforms or one of the key programs that through which we ensure that there is a continuous growth for anybody who joins entity data. So back to you, Vamati.

Thank you, Rashmi. That answers the question. Rashmi, there's one last question for you. With many opportunities across regions and domains, how can someone make the most of the career journey at NTT DATA?

I think I clubbed this

in my previous conversation Yes. Point.

Right? That we believe career growth in NTT, and the growth is a journey that we have shaped by our learning, mobility, and innovation. Employees are empowered to explore opportunities across geographies, domains, and they are well supported by a global ecosystem, and that encourages a self driven development. Now with a presence in over 50 countries, approximately 55 countries, and with the recognition as a global top employer in, 33 countries, we offer international assignments, cross functional projects, and help professionals expand their horizon and make a local impact. Learning platforms like our career hub, connected learning, LinkedIn learning, all we they all enable the individuals, right, for personalized growth, through training, certification, mentorship. So and we like I mentioned previously, like, we strongly increase internal mobility, rotation programs. So all of this put together, automatically opens up and creates opportunities for anyone who joins our organization.

Ravi and Rashmi, thank you so much. Very inspiring, voice of leadership. Ravi, thanks for sharing your inspiring story of growth. And we know that you actually walk the talk when it comes to CSR as well. I'm gonna give a quick summary for the benefit of the community.
