Staff ASIC Digital Design Engineer

The successful candidates will work on Interface IP Subsystem development for Displays (MIPI DSI), cameras (MIPI CSI) and other high-speed protocols. These technologies are today used on smartphones, tablets, computers, IoT, wearables, and automobiles.

The subsystem designs created present the opportunity for the successful candidate to have their work used in many of the leading products that are developed by Synopsys customers. We develop best in class designs using the latest best practice to ensure their quality and we need the right people to keep making this happen.

Main Responsibilities:

• Architect and design Interface IP subsystems
• Assist on design verification using verification techniques such as UVM
• Produce technical documentation
• Interact with the customer and other internal teams

Key Requirements:

• Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering
• Exposure to Verilog, System Verilog or VHDL
• Exposure to Unix, Perl, and TCL scripting
• Knowledge of ASIC design/verification flows
• Knowledge of MIPI, PCIe or similar protocols would be advantageous
• Good problem-solving and English language communication skills
• Capability to produce adequate technical documentation with the willingness to learn new things/technologies
• Capability to work as a team member and promote excellent working relationships
• Ability to lead customer meetings and act as a technical team leader
