ASIC Digital Design Engineer, DE II

This is a Technical Individual Contributor role and offers challenges to work in a multi-site environment on technically challenging IP Cores in the Design for Testability domain.
 

Key Qualifications

• BTech/MTech in Electrical/Electronic /microelectronics/VLSI /Embedded specialization
• Familiarity with Verilog/System Verilog
• Good understanding of Digital Design flow
• Ability and readiness to study and apply new tools and methodologies quickly
• Excellent in problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, team work and networking skills.

Preferred Experience

• 4+ years experience in Designing and Implementing DFT techniques.
• Excellent knowledge of DFT architectures & methodologies which includes Scan insertion, ATPG, JTAG etc. 
• Must have experience in generating scan patterns and coverage statistics for various fault models like stuck at, IDDQ, Transition faults and path delay
• Experience in Scan Stuck-At and At-Speed coverage analysis, simulation and debug
• Hands on knowledge in state-of-the-art EDA tools for DFT, design and verification
• STA DFT Test mode timing constraint development and analysis is a plus
• Strong debug skills and demonstrated experiences in Perl /TCL/Python scripting is a plus
• Good Communications skills and the ability to effectively work with cross functional teams across geographies are required.
• Design experience in MBIST ,LBIST and Analog DFT is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Verilog HDL and experience with simulators and waveform debugging tools
