Virtual Event

AI is changing the rules while many women are still fighting for a seat at the table.

The stats are telling:

Only 1 in 4 new AI hires are women.
Women hold just 20% of Head of AI roles, 26% of Director of AI roles, and 18% of Member of Technical Staff roles.
Women hold only 13% of C-suite AI leadership roles at AI companies.

In celebration of Women in AI Day, Women AI Builders and WomenTech Network are hosting a panel that brings together senior executives and AI leaders to discuss what it takes to build influence, stay relevant, and lead through rapid change.

The virtual event will open with new findings from WomenTech Network’s Women in AI study, followed by a panel discussion with senior AI leaders about what those findings mean in practice

Panelists will share the moments that shaped their careers, including unexpected pivots, setbacks, difficult decisions, and the relationships that opened new doors.

The discussion will focus on how women can move from using AI to shaping strategy, guiding systems, leading human and AI teams, and influencing how technology affects people.

What You Will Learn

  • How AI is changing the value of expertise, judgment, and leadership
  • How they moved into roles where they could shape AI and key decisions
  • Which skills matter most when leading human and AI teams
  • How leaders can create stronger pathways for women entering and advancing in AI

Join us for an honest discussion about the decisions, challenges, negotiations, and reinventions behind meaningful leadership.
Whether you are entering AI, changing fields, stepping into leadership, returning after a career break, or (re)considering what comes next, this panel will offer practical perspectives for building your place in the human-agentic workforce. All genders are welcome!

Because the future will not belong only to those who started in AI. It will belong to those prepared to learn, adapt, reinvent, advocate for their value, and help others move forward with them.
