Amulya Boyapati Bio (LinkedIn)

I am a software engineer at Google working on enterprise data analytics and AI, where I help build capabilities that let customers run generative AI inference directly from SQL across petabyte-scale data. My work spans system design, scalable LLM inference, cost governance, and taking complex AI capabilities from ideation through production launch. Before Google, I spent three years at Apple on the Apple Data Platform, engineering foundational capabilities for a hybrid-cloud ecosystem that supports exabyte-scale data processing, LLM fine-tuning, and machine learning experimentation for services including Siri, Apple Pay, Maps, and Vision Pro. Across both companies, I have combined deep engineering execution with customer-focused product thinking to improve performance, reliability, and cost at enterprise scale.
I currently lead cost governance for generative AI operators used by Fortune 500 customers in the data analytics stack, and I focus on cost-governed and scalable LLM inference as my core craft. Beyond my day job, I contribute to the broader AI community through public speaking, engineering mentorship, judging AI hackathons and technology competitions, and serving on the program committee for IFIP SEC 2026, an international conference on information security and privacy.
