Jyothirmai Gurramula Bio (LinkedIn)

I am a Senior Java Developer with around 13 years in software engineering, eight of them building full stack Java applications for banking and finance. I currently work on Bank of America's CashPro Online and Mobile platform, the digital treasury portal corporate clients use to manage payments, cash flow, liquidity and trade. There I build Spring Boot microservices on AWS, Angular single page applications, and secure REST APIs with Spring Security and OAuth.
I started as a QA automation engineer on Visa's alerts and notification services, then moved into development on SunTrust Bank's Offers Capability Program. At Wells Fargo I built REST APIs and event-driven services for the My Credit Options Guide in the mobile banking app, and later took on a technical leadership role in the bank's digital channel modernization.
My work sits where software engineering and quality engineering meet. I design microservices and cloud-native systems on AWS, GCP and Kubernetes, build event-driven flows on Kafka, and run CI/CD pipelines with automated testing built in from the start. I also lead and mentor the engineers I work with.
I hold a Master of Computer Applications from the National Institute of Technology Surathkal. I am a Certified Scrum Master and hold Oracle, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud certifications
