Kristina Kushner - Delivery Manager - PMP®Driving globally distributed engineering teams, keep them engaged and motivated to deliver mind-blowing results. I enjoy both results and processes that get us to those results. A good challenge always makes me curious. Love taking ownership in finding the ways to solve it and engaging people in to have more fun together. Now leading a team of 3 PMs, helping them grow professionally and delivering awesome results.
I am passionate about mentorship and knowledge sharing. Women are still underestimated in tech and this impacts their self-esteem and professional growth ambition. I want to change that. Besides, I like explaining complex things in simple words and have a backpack of tips on career growth roadmapping and getting ready for the next hop.
Totally self-made in my role, I started in tech from scratch with no computer science background or education. Lack of self-confidence and a victim of bias - I have been in these shoes myself. Now I am working with people around the globe, leading teams and delivering cool products. This is possible - I have proven that to myself despite the obstacles. If I have done this, others can repeat it too.
These days I have my Project Management Sandbox initiative - a YouTube channel where I deliver insights to people who are on their journey to STEM and want to succeed as PMs.
Besides, I act as a mentor in global organizations: WomentTech Network, Rigatech Girls, Women in Tech. With these communities I meet sparks and make them shine.
What inspires me? Understanding that I can make a difference.
