Melissa PAIRAZAMAN Bio (LinkedIn)
Melissa Pairazamán has spent ten years inside the startup world, first as a partner, then as a founder. She has moved countries more than once to build her career, and that journey across Latin America and Europe shapes everything she builds today. She co-founded KAI, the hiring partner for startups and scaleups scaling their teams across Spain, the UK, and Latin America. KAI reads the DNA behind every hire. It studies a company’s stage, its challenge, and its leaders. It studies a candidate’s knowledge, how they work, how they relate to others, and what they have lived. Only candidates who reach 85% compatibility or higher make the shortlist. Built entirely bootstrapped, KAI earned real traction with scaleups in its first year and was selected for the Wayra and ICEX Rising Up program.
She also co-founded Bamble, a project with the Haddad Entrepreneurship Center that helps students and companies adopt AI responsibly and with confidence.
Melissa’s mission is personal. She is a Peruvian woman of Indigenous and Chinese heritage. Like many Peruvian women around the world, she is the first in her family to earn an international career, an opportunity her grandmothers never had access to. Her commitment is to make sure education and opportunity reach those women and every talented person who deserves to be seen for what they know, not for where they come from, how they look, or their social class.
