About Applied AI for Social Good Learning Circle
Deep Tech Collective e.V. is a women-founded, volunteer-driven nonprofit dedicated to making emerging technologies such as AI, quantum computing and robotics more accessible, inclusive and impactful. Its mission is to advance gender equality and empower underrepresented communities by connecting people across disciplines, industries and cultures to learn, collaborate and shape the future of technology.
The Applied AI for Social Good Learning Circle brings this mission to life through a 12-week international program combining peer learning, technical facilitation and hands-on, project-based collaboration.
With 130+ applications, 55 selected participants from 22 countries and nine international Learning Circles, the initiative enables diverse learners to develop practical AI skills.
Six women contributed to program design, educational resources, coordination and technical facilitation alongside a male Circle Lead. Both Technical Facilitators were women.
Teams developed eight AI concepts and prototypes addressing healthcare access for migrants, language learning, career development, support for children with autism, veterinary skin disease diagnostics and meeting productivity.
Featured in the UN Global AI Partnerships Resource Hub, the initiative demonstrates inclusive AI education in action.
Learn AI by building with AI — responsibly, collaboratively and for social good.
