Sheetal Dash Bio
Sheetal is a proud Women In Tech/Data and wears that on her sleeves when conducting herself. She is currently working as Vice President - Data Governance Lead at Citi where she is able to share this passion with so many others. She works towards empowering women to study STEM subjects and have the confidence to follow whatever path they desire just as she has. In her role she endeavors to enrich the great work that is going on in Data Governance with her experience in data modelling, analysis, warehousing, data solutions and the likes. Prior to joining Citi, she worked in various capacities as Design Lead/Senior Developer/Data Engineer during her tenure with other Banks and NBFCs.Academically, She has completed her Masters in Applied Cyber Security from Queen’s University of Belfast and is currently pursuing a PhD in 'Real-Time Cyber Threat Analysis using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Models' at the University of Staffordshire.
She is a fun loving person, outdoorsy, loves travelling and hanging out with friends and family. When not at work and not studying, she loves sketching and trying out new cuisines.
