Vikra Krishnasamy Bio (LinkedIn)
I am a Senior Security Engineer on the Amazon Payments security team, where I work at the point where AI systems meet payment infrastructure. I have spent seven years in application security across payments, retail, AI/ML, telecom, healthcare technology, and enterprise services. I started as a security analyst at Hexaware Technologies, monitoring SIEM events and running incident investigations. At Cognizant, I managed a five-person web application security team. At Comcast, I ran threat modeling for Xfinity platforms and connected services and built security controls into CI/CD pipelines with about 4 percent impact on build performance. I then worked on FDA-aligned product security at Bracco Medical Technologies and led XSS and cache poisoning remediation across PayPal platforms including Braintree and Xoom. My core strengths are threat modeling, vulnerability discovery, and turning findings into fixes that engineering teams ship. I hold a Master's in Cybersecurity from George Washington University, along with the CEH, AWS Certified Security Specialty, and Certified DevSecOps Professional credentials, and I contributed to the OWASP Security Champion Maturity and Capability Model. My current focus is securing AI agents and MCP-based integrations that can reach money movement.
