Vivian Shen Bio
Vivian Shen graduated from Stanford University with a BS in Computer Science and went on to be a Software Engineer at Google, Consultant at McKinsey + Company and Director of Product at Operation. In 2017, Shen founded Juni Learning, an online education platform for K-12, to be the educational opportunity she wished she had growing up. As a kid, Vivian had an interest in entrepreneurship, nonprofits and coding - many of which were not courses that her school offered. When looking back on her time learning to code, Vivian remembers feeling insecure about being a beginner and learned best in small, personalized, settings compared to lecture style of teaching in large auditoriums. Through Juni Learning, Vivian is on a mission to provide students access to 1:1 teaching to ignite a passion for learning among all students – regardless of their interests and learning styles.
