TCAD Field Application Engineer, Sr Staff

Job Description
As a Field Applications Engineer for the TCAD products, you will be the primary technical interface with customers. You will assist customers to evaluate, use, and apply TCAD tools. As the product expert, you will work with R&D, sales, marketing and our customers to help drive the development and acceptance of our TCAD products. Duties include both pre-sales and post-sales activities such as technical support of the product, managing new and existing customer relationships, technical training & presentation preparation and delivery, beta testing, benchmarking and onsite evaluations support as well as new feature specification. This exciting position affords the possibility to work with leading edge semiconductor companies using Synopsys’ state-of-the-art TCAD tools.

Minimum Requirements
The position requires a strong background in semiconductor manufacturing technology and device physics. The typical candidate holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering or Physics and is familiar with numerical methods. IT skills in Linux as well as Python and TCL scripting are necessary. Six years of experience with TCAD simulation tools is required.
