Looking for a senior Infrastructure engineer who can design, deploy, improve, and support global IT infrastructure and application solutions in both on-prem data centers and cloud to meet the requirements from internal customers, and collaborate with IT partner teams to deliver cutting edge infrastructure services helping to boost engineering and business productivities.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and manage both on-prem & cloud IT infrastructure services, such as Directory Services (AD/LDAP/Azure), Okta, Email Services, DNS, etc., to support Synopsys global engineering environment as well as application platforms in both internal networks and DMZ.
• Implement and manage both on-prem & cloud hypervisor, hyperconverged and container platforms to support IT infrastructure services and business applications requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and implementation projects. Conduct research to identify new technologies and solutions.
• Develop tools to automate administrative tasks. Optimize operation processes to improve service availability, performance, security and scalability.
• Create and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures. Work with IT frontline teams to support internal customers on IT infrastructure requests and issues.
• Work with global team members to monitor and maintain IT infrastructure services. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to system emergency incidents, Identifying and resolving issues proactively.

Requirements:

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering or a related field, with at least 6 years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of both Linux and Windows system deployment, configuration management, system administration and security. Knowledge of network and infrastructure services like AD/LDAP, DNS, SMTP, Load Balancers, etc.
• Experience with cloud environment such as AWS, GCP or Azure, virtualization and containerization platforms like VMware/Nutanix AHV, Kubernetes/Docker and etc.
• Ability to use DevOps tools like Ansible for configuration and deployment automation. Experience with infrastructure monitoring and logging tools such as Nagios, ELK stack or etc.
• Experience in automating administrative tasks using scripting language such as Bash, PowerShell or Python. Familiar with web technology stack including web server, database, REST API and etc.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required. Ability to create documentation for infrastructure configurations and processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with other teams and stakeholders. Demonstrates aptitude for providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work independently and in a global IT team environment.
• Experience with infrastructure project planning and execution. Strong time management skills, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver results within deadlines.
• Fluent in English both spoken and written
