Your opportunity
As a InfoSec Security Engineer for GTM Support, you will help New Relic build trust with customers, regulators, and internal New Relic teams. You will use a security first approach to develop programs and documentation to educate, inform and retain more customers. You are interested in Observability, Product Management and Security culture.
What you'll do
  • Be a trusted advisor in a technical capacity for customers during pre/post-sale engagements.
  • Support the Commercial Sales and GTM enablement strategies with opportunity qualifications, RFP responses and in-depth security discussions with Customers. 
  • Programmatically approach high volume customer engagements for questionnaires, due diligence and security assessments. 
  • Develop processes for curating and maintaining documentation, training materials, and knowledge base additions for New Relic’s security and product information. 
  • Serve as a voice of Security and Compliance culture for New Relic.
This role requires
  • 5+ years of experience managing and completing security questionnaires for prospective B2B customers driving towards purchasing software as a service.
  • Strong understanding of information security principles, standards, and best practices and cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external customers.
  • Project management skills to triage manage a backlog of security questionnaires
  • Experience maintaining an internal knowledge base is preferred.
Bonus points if you have
  • Pre-sales experience working with complex customers. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent desirable.
