Founded in Quebec City in 2011, Xacte is a dynamic, fast-growing company that puts its technological know-how and medical billing expertise at the service of all physicians through its web and mobile billing tool. Since 2018, Xacte has been working as part of the Petal team, composed of more than 300 passionate individuals dedicated to improving the healthcare system by developing innovative medico-administrative solutions.


A leader in the field of medical billing in Quebec, we have just reached over 6,000 users and have no intention of slowing down in our mission to simplify the daily lives of physicians.


What you can expect by joining the team

At the heart of the medical billing operations team outside RAMQ, you will join a team of specialists. You will be involved in all the tasks of your team and will have complete responsibility for certain cases. This position requires a presence of 2 days per week at our offices in Quebec.


Your daily tasks

During the day, you will be required to:

  • Ensure the reception and processing of documents, forms, and information received from clients. 
  • Respond to client inquiries on the Intercom platform or by phone. 
  • Explain to physicians the necessary information or documents for billing according to the type of insurance. 
  • Prepare claims and process received payments.

Your profile

Are you a professional, courteous, and customer service-oriented individual? Are you an autonomous and proactive person who enjoys managing multiple cases simultaneously and working as part of a team towards common goals? Are you looking for a friendly work environment and to integrate yourself into a great team? The sky is the limit! If you have:

  • A diploma in office administration, technical administration, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Mastery of the Office suite.
  • Familiarity with web and mobile applications as well as ease with technology and computer tools (e.g., Trello, Intercom, Gmail, Slack, Dropbox, etc.).
  • The ability to manage priorities and handle stress that may arise during peak periods.
  • A well-developed sense of responsibility and priorities.
  • Since you will be interacting with our clientele, many of whom are English or French-speaking only, proficiency in both English and French (spoken, written, and reading) is preferable.
