In this role, in the Custom Design and TCAD Solutions (CDTS) division of the EDA group (EDAG), you will focus on enabling TCAD simulation-based power device process and circuit co-optimisation. You will be working on the implementation of new flows and capabilities within this area, as well as helping customers working on the most advanced power device technologies being currently developed.
The applicant should have:

  • MS/Ph.D. Degree in Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • 3+ years experience with power device operation, physics, and applications (Si, SiC, GaN, IGBT, trenchMOS, Superjunction, bipolar)
  • Experience with SPICE model extraction for power device applications including self-heating and trapping effects
  • Experience with circuit simulation techniques (e.g. SPICE)
  • Experience in creating, running, or managing complex EDA tool flows

Preferred experience with:

  • TCAD process and device simulation
  • Layout/schematic capture and manipulation
  • Python programming and scripting
