As a Senior Associate, Systems Management at Kyndryl ,  you will:

• Provide the underlying Mainframe operating system platform programming and DBDC subsystem programming support on which applications are developed and/or deployed. Expertise is required in many environments which may include operating systems, application development platforms, networking, packaged software, etc.
• Guide functional objectives on technologies and advise other professionals to effectively utilize group dynamics. 
• Recognize complex problems related to functional objectives and drives solutions to problems.
• Lead RCA discussions for their products. Analyzes situations and implements solutions, or develops new system elements, procedures or processes. Creativity and judgment applied to developmental work on different projects within the business environment.
• Provide ongoing technical /operational guidance to lead professional work teams, conducts special projects, or managedepartment(s) (national or international.
• Define and decide objectives within specified business concept or project and may have responsibility for tools and assigned resources. Utilizes expertise to directly influence people outside department or function.
• Regularly participate in overall functional program planning. Activities are subject to business measurements, impact customer satisfaction, and impact project costs or expenses.

As a Senior Associate, Systems Management at Kyndryl, you'll have the opportunity to shape the very foundation of the technology that drives our world.

• Your work will involve developing, testing, and maintaining the software that controls a computer's operating system, hardware, and other systems software. You'll be a master troubleshooter and problem-solver, with the skills to fix even the most complex issues that arise.
• Not only will you be responsible for ensuring the security of our computer systems, but you'll also work closely with other IT professionals to design and implement cutting-edge technology that keeps Kyndryl ahead of the curve.
• In this role, you'll provide the underlying Mainframe operating system platform programming and DBDC subsystem programming support that forms the backbone of our applications.
• You'll guide functional objectives on technologies and make use of your expert knowledge to drive solutions to complex problems.
• As a leader in this field, you'll also be expected to conduct RCA discussions for the products you work on and provide ongoing technical and operational guidance to lead professional work teams. You may even manage departments on a national or international level, defining objectives and managing resources to ensure the success of your projects.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant degree is a must.
• Requires at least 5  years of relevant experience in application monitoring and systems integration.
• Prior impressive background in system management and technical support is a must and is critical to the role.
• Prior background in scripting languages to automate tasks and manipulate data is a must.
• A solid understanding of operating systems (such as Windows, Linux, Unix, Z/OS), networks, and software systems is  required.
• Prior working knowledge with enterprise system management operation, especially in enterprise system monitoring, observability, visualization ,and dashboard is required.

Preferred Skills, Qualities, and Capabilities:

• Exceptional verbal, written, project management, presentation and communication skills is highly appreciated.
• Impressive technical, analytic and problem solving skills combined with the ability to provide quick resolution to problems.
• Experience with NetView / SysView, FTP, SFTP, Axway CFT, Connect: Direct, VIPA, DVIPA, etc. ideally in a complex GDPS environment is highly encouraged.
• Impressive programming abilities, especially in Java, Python, and/or C++ is highly appreciated.
