Blending the Workforce: Humans and AI
Expert Webinar Series
Hosted by WomenTech Network
We’re excited to welcome Doina Popa as our featured guest speaker!
As AI continues to transform the way organizations operate, leaders are facing a defining question: how do we build workforces that are not only AI-enabled, but truly capable, confident, and human-centered? “Blending the Workforce: Humans and AI” explores how leaders can move beyond tool adoption and focus on the deeper capability, culture, and mindset shifts needed to thrive in an AI-driven world.
This session will dive into how AI is reshaping leadership, workforce transformation, and career positioning. Attendees will explore how AI-augmented leadership can:
-
Strengthen decision-making by combining AI capability with human judgment, context, and critical thinking.
-
Close the workforce capability gap by addressing leadership, culture, and adoption challenges — not just technical implementation.
-
Create more intentional AI adoption strategies that avoid building a two-tier workforce between those who shape AI and those who are shaped by it.
-
Unlock the leadership potential of women in tech by recognizing how precision, empathy, systems thinking, and navigating ambiguity are becoming essential advantages in the AI era.
-
Build visibility, voice, and influence through a deliberate strategy for earning and claiming a seat at the table.
Doina will share practical perspectives from her journey as Founder and CEO of InnoTrue, as well as from her senior technology leadership roles, including CTO at Capgemini and CIO at Barclays. Drawing on her experience leading large-scale teams, coaching executives, and working at the intersection of AI, workforce capability, and human leadership, she will explore why the future of work depends not only on access to AI tools, but on the quality of thinking leaders bring to them.
The session will offer concrete insights into how leaders can design blended workforces, strengthen organizational capability, and approach AI transformation with clarity, intention, and responsibility. Doina will also share the philosophy behind “Earned My Seat” — the belief that authentic authority is built, not granted, and that visibility, voice, and positioning in the AI era require a learnable and deliberate strategy.
Attendees will walk away with a clearer understanding of how to lead AI adoption beyond the tool layer, build the human capabilities needed for transformation, and claim their place as leaders in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
The event will kick off with a 30-minute keynote from Doina, followed by a live Q&A before one-on-one networking begins.

Doina Popa
CEO at InnoTrue
Doina Popa is the Founder and CEO of InnoTrue, a transformation company operating at the intersection of AI, workforce capability, and human leadership. Before founding InnoTrue, Doina held senior technology leadership roles including CTO at Capgemini and CIO at Barclays, where she led teams of over 250 people. She holds executive coaching credentials from ICF (PCC, ACTC), EMCC, and Hogan, and is also a Salesforce Certified Technical Architect — a rare combination of practical leadership experience, human development expertise, and deep technical authority. Doina rebuilt her career from scratch more than once — navigating relocation, reinvention, and the reality of being underestimated — reaching top EMEA performance at Salesforce before moving into executive leadership. That journey is the foundation of her "Earned My Seat" philosophy: the belief that authentic authority is built, not granted, and that the leaders who will shape the AI era are those who invest in capability, not just credentials. Through InnoTrue, she delivers executive coaching, organisational transformation work, and architecture programs — all designed for a world where human judgment and AI capability must work in concert.
