Staff Applications Consultant

As we continue to grow, we are now looking for an experienced Applications Consultant to join our team, focusing on pre and post-sales support of our Synthesis tools.
 
Responsibilities
 

• Technical customer support in the area of digital implementation
• Develop a strong understanding of the customer objectives and identify customer needs.
• Partner with customer technical leaders to develop effective technical solutions based on the Synopsys digital EDA platform.
• Team up with Sales to identify new business opportunities for existing and new accounts to support growth.
• Interact with R&D to influence SNPS products and feature development to increase competitiveness.
• Understanding complex technical challenges.  A strong problem-solving attitude is also part of the role.
• Promote Synopsys solutions by presenting and discussing product overviews as well as detailed technical training material.
• Work in an international environment
• knowledge of the Digital  design implementation flow for  Chip (SoC) or IP block, from RTL to GDSII ( experience with SNPS tools would be of advantage : DCNXT, FC,  ) 
• Experience with RTL design, timing constraints, and design optimization techniques.

 
Key Requirements
 

• Typically requires 6+ years in the industry.
• Agile learning, able to analyze technical problems and provide solutions considering customer environment
• Must be fluent in German & English (written & spoken)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Program management skills are of advantage.
• Able to travel to our Munich office and customer sites as required.
