Tell us about your experience as a Women in Tech Global Conference 2022 speaker.

It was such an honor to be invited to bring my experience and knowledge to the 2022 conference. Helping women get into and thrive in tech is a passion that is at the heart of my business so to be part of an organization whose mission is the same, it felt incredibly aligned. I loved meeting amazing women whose dreams and goals are placed in the tech industry.

What is your favorite thing about working in tech?

My favorite thing about having worked in tech was an innovation. Prior to working in tech, I worked in a very traditional field of customer service and logistics where my ideas didn't materialize into projects, where sometimes I felt limited by budgets and even faced aversion to change from management. So when I got to tech, I love how fast-paced everything was and how oriented it was towards helping the user through the innovation and ideas coming from my very brain.

What advice (and tips) would you give to women who want to start a tech career?

My advice would be to not feel limited by their background and previous experience. This is the #1 why women don't pursue roles in tech, because they feel their previous experience isn't good enough to help them transition.

But as my journey and the journey of my clients proves, it is 100% possible to leverage nontechnical skills and experience to start a profitable and fulfilling career in tech - it all comes down to effective positioning.

Who would you recommend to join the WomenTech Network?

I'd recommend WomenTech Network to all ambitious women who envision a better career, salary, and environment for themselves. Women who don't want to settle with what they have and also who want to come in contact with like-minded women
