The Role

·       Design, architect and lead the implementation of Cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure Services.

·       Assess and recommend public and hybrid Cloud solutions, including Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS).

·       Collaborate closely with global teams to develop proposals, presentations, statement of work (SOW) and proactively recommend strategies around Microsoft technologies specifically Microsoft Azure.

·       Should be able to execute short term strategic consulting projects on Microsoft Azure, assessments, POC/pilots, map solutions to client business processes, and develop value proposition and business case.

·       Advice customers on various Cloud solution options, discuss benefits and risks of each, and recommend a solution that aligns with the customer's business needs and requirements.

·       Provide thought leadership and IT transformation recommendations for large collaboration programs around Microsoft Azure.

·       DevOps architect should automate the process with proper tools.

·       Developing appropriate DevOps channels throughout the organization.

·       Evaluating, implementing and streamlining DevOps practices.

·       Establishing a continuous build environment to accelerate software deployment and development processes.

·       On prem to Cloud migration experience.

·       Strong knowledge with  hands-on experience in Terraform.

Who You Are

Technical Experience :

·       Must have hands-on experience using Azure DevOps - creating & managing Azure pipelines for CI/CD

·       Must have hands-on experience in integrating pipelines with GitHub/Azure Repos/any other SCM, artifactory,  static code analyzers like Sonar Qube, BlackDuck etc.

·       Good to have experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripting - Terraform/ARM templates/Ansible etc.

·       Good to have experience in using Docker, Kubernetes and other azure services.

Professional Attributes :

·       Good Analytical Skills

·       Excellent Written and Verbal Communication

Certification:

·       Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert

·       Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert or another associate level certification would be an added advantage

·       HashiCorp terraform Certified
