Understanding intersectionality allows allies in the WomenTech community to recognize that women’s experiences are not monolithic. Women may face multiple, overlapping forms of discrimination based on race, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic status. By acknowledging these intersecting identities, allies can offer more nuanced support that addresses the unique challenges faced by different members.
