Our global Product & Industry Marketing team is responsible for all Akamai Security products. We embrace a start-up mentality focusing on expanding our security business in the market. Our team works closely with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure compelling market positioning and messaging for our products.

In this role, you will be coordinating complex strategic initiatives that support our marketing mission-critical goals. You will collaborate with stakeholders from across the marketing organization to execute our marketing vision.

As a Marketing Program Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Tracking and co-ordinating cross-functional marketing projects that drive awareness, consideration, and conversion for our market-leading security solutions
• Supporting other strategic and process improvement programs that drive growth for the company
• Building internal communications such as newsletters and web updates to create awareness of projects in flight
• Creating cross-functional alignment and transparency by documenting, organizing and communicating program strategies, plans, execution and results to key internal stakeholders
• Identifying, raising, and tracking risks, dependencies, and strategic opportunities in a timely, clear manner

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have relevant experience running marketing programs within a Cybersecurity company
• Have experience creating newsletters and web updates which help to create awareness of projects in flight
• Be able to bring strategy to life through program design, activation planning and execution
• Be comfortable with data and using tools to create performance reports for key internal stakeholders to inform strategy & plans
• Have excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate often, clearly and honestly to stakeholders
• Be able to effectively communicate in English both written and verbal
