The Role

Responsibilities

Understanding the requirement, Develop, Execute and Maintain automated Test cases to

• Perform Smoke testing.
• Perform Functional testing.
• Perform Integration testing.
• Perform Regression testing.
• Prepare Test plan and strategy.

·  Define testing KPI’s and prepare the testing reports after each sprint cycle.

·  Follow standard quality industry process to improve the overall testing process.

·  Identifying and selecting the automation test cases

·  Suggest and select right automation framework.

·  Suggest and use best practices for automation testing and reporting.

·  Automating the tests with reusable functions and a code with parameterization-

rules

·  Maintain the regression automated suite and include in automated CI CD pipe

line.

·  Good understanding and knowledge of REST API types (GET, PUT, POST,

DELETE)

·  Keep all dependencies or test libraries updated to the latest stable versions.

·  Keen to learn and adapt to new technologies introduced.

·  Interacting with client to solve the various issues they face and updating on the

situation.

Who You Are

Technical Skill

3-6 years of hands-on experience in application testing

• 1-2 years in Agile methodology
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in test automation(selenium/cypress)
• 1-2 years in Manual testing
• Expertise in following Technical areas is MUST.
• Hands on with Java 11 or above, Maven, Postman, Test containers
• API mocking and tests using Wiremock and Cucumber (for BDD)
• UI Automation testing using tools like Selenium or Selenide
• Test reporting tools like Allure and TestNG
• Test management tools like TestNG
• Experience in UI and API testing using relevant tools and tech
• Expertise in following areas is good to have.
• Knowledge in Performance testing
• CI/CD integration experience
• Min 2 Years of hands on experience in Functional testing and automation. Also, some exposure to Performance testing will be an added advantage.

Other skill

• Good Analytical and Problem Solving Skill.
• In-depth understanding of SDLC & SDTC life Cycle.
• Experience in Agile Product Development methodology.
• Experience in Automotive domain knowledge in Sales and Aftersales is good to have.

Education:                                                                                                                                    B. E / any UG degree (Preferred – Computer Science / Information Technology )
