The Female Founder Initiative powered by the Founder Institute, the world's largest pre-seed startup accelerator, is proud to partner with Women Tech Network to help narrow the gender gap in technology by providing more opportunities for women to launch startups. The women in tech focused network is a global platform powered by Coding Girls and Tech Family Ventures promoting diversity in the tech, leadership and entrepreneurship.

Through the Female Founder Fellowship program, we aim to inspire and support early-stage female founders in the Women Tech Network by providing:

    • Feedback and Mentorship from 500+ top startup leaders including WomenTech and Tech Family Ventures Co-Founder Anna Radulovski.
    • Several Female Founder Fellowships awarded to the top female applicants, allowing them to participate in the program for free.
    • A Local and Global Support Network of Entrepreneurs, Investors and Advisors
    • More than $2M in Partner Deals and Resources

Since launching the Female Founder Fellowship program in 2011 the Founder Institute has made great strides toward reaching a more gender balanced portfolio. In recent years, +30% of companies created were founded by women across Founder Institute programs, and 38% across their three largest markets.

These Graduates employ thousands of people, have raised over $65 Million in financing, and are building products people love all across the globe. Some of Founder Institute’s top female-founded portfolio companies include Realty Mogul, Zirtual, Skimble, Memetales, Kindara, Enerknol, RushtixWhizmeal, 2RedBeans, GreenKidCrafts, and many more.

Launched in 2016, the Female Founder Initiative provides support for women founders all over the globe through their funding-focused webinar series, pitch deck feedback opportunities, mentor-led group office hours, monthly newsletter, and global slack channel.
