Apurva Garware, VP of Product Management and General Manager at Upwork, brings a broad perspective and deep vision for two-sided consumer tech marketplaces — from a distinguished career as a software engineer at Microsoft, product leadership roles at Amazon and Chegg to her current role overseeing Upwork’s core product line, Talent Marketplace, that generates $1B in quarterly Gross Services Volume. As an advocate for the advancement of women in leadership and entrepreneurship, Apurva is a thought leader on platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter and Clubhouse. Through her speaking and writing engagements on these platforms, Apurva is able to reach a collective audience of 2K+ people. Most recently, Apurva was invited to contribute her thoughts on the Future Of Work by the Product-Led Alliance and the Indian Institute of Technology’s Entrepreneurship Cell.
