Mia Maselli Bio
Mia Maselli is a security analyst at Starburst, the fast-growing analytics anywhere company. She comes from an eclectic background which includes the arts, various customer service roles, and a stint in general aviation, but jumped headfirst into cybersecurity and tech in 2019 with the completion of Evolve Security’s Academy Bootcamp. From there she spent two years learning the ropes of the MSP world as an IoT Technician before landing her first official security role at Starburst in 2021.Maselli sees it as an immense honor and privilege to work alongside an all-female security compliance team and with their support, she has been able to achieve long-standing goals such as attending her first DEFCON and completing online college courses while also studying for further certification in the security industry. As she continues to advance her career, Maselli hopes to explore the roles of SOC Analyst and Incident Responder.
