Rebecca Mbula Bio

Rebecca Mbula is a first class honors Computer Science student at Strathmore University as well as an incoming program manager at Microsoft. She has been focused on community education in Nairobi, Kenya to upskill students with relevant skills in tech to help them get employment. Through the Strathmore University IT Association, she has been a community program manager and has worked hand in hand with the president of SUITSA to enable the upskilling of over 3000 students, professionals and beginners. She has also excelled in her education managing to get first class honors in Computer science as well as been offered a program manager position at Microsoft before graduation. She has also been accepted to the first cohort of Masters in Science in Engineering Artificial Intelligence at the prestigious Carnegie Mellon University. Through this I believe she is a rising star with a bright future in technology as well as a great candidate for the IT graduate of the year, community award and the woman in ICT award.
