Aistė has been working in IT for 16 years, starting from software developer and moving to project, portfolio, and IT Strategy management, followed by business development roles in companies like Barclays, Danske Bank, and fintech-startups. After spending few years in Denmark, Aistė joined Vinted as Director of Engineering for Payments. Spending entire career in the Tech field, Aistė has seen a lot of talented female colleagues and started questioning, what stops them from progressing to managerial roles. There is no single answer, but there are patterns that can be changed.
