How many of you feel the subtle differences when you're on your period? Did you ever go into a guilt/denial phase, when you prioritized health over work? Did you overstress and felt guilty that you worsened your menstrual cycle? This is a sensitive topic for quite a few people who menstruate. Do you know that the stress is real? Do you know the cycle is your superpower if you work with it?

You wear multiple hats at work, as a Software Engineer or any other job profile in Tech. Get to know how to best sync your roles with the phases of your cycle and stay guilt-free! Let's bust some myths as I share how I trained myself to tune in with my cycle and made it my strength at work.

Bio

Akanksha brings a wealth of hands-on experience to the world of software engineering. Currently driving innovation in Google's Cloud TPU team, she is at the forefront of enhancing ML runtime. This expertise builds on a strong academic foundation, including a Master's degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University with a focus on Machine Learning, Software Design and Algorithms.

Her passion for technology extends beyond her current work. Akanksha has explored Computer Vision, Machine Learning specifically Generative Adversarial Networks, and Natural Language Processing through diverse academic projects. Additionally, her career trajectory includes contributions to high-performance trading systems at the D. E. Shaw Group, along with valuable industry insights gained during internships at Microsoft Whiteboard and Amazon Alexa. This diverse background involved tackling real-world challenges in algorithm development, data pipelines, and telemetry analysis.
