The concept of human-in-the-loop was born to train specific machine learning algorithms that needed constant input from humans in order to learn effectively. The whole concept places AI at the centre and makes the humans go around it in a loop. Today the evolution of the human as digital user is demanding a new approach. One where the human being is at the centre of the attention while tech circles and evolves around her. We have entered the era of Tech-in-the-loop which focuses on discovering human intention, emphasising user experience, supporting an effective positive impact to celebrate the power that humans have. This presentation aims at introducing a framework to build tech products that revolve around us.Key Takeaways

Bio
"An Italian living in Switzerland with a too complicated surname. "Alessandra has been breathing technology since she was 18 years old. After a degree in Computer Engineering and a PhD in Systems and Computer Engineering, she worked as Software Engineer, Researcher and Project Manager for more than 10 years in different technical projects travelling the world. She also has a UX Diploma and teaches Information Systems, Digital Transformation and Digital Media at different Swiss Universities.
Her deep knowledge and experience cover different fields from Network Performance to Emerging technologies like AI and VR passing through Cybersecurity and Identity Management.
Few years ago Alessandra started AURES to merge her experience with another strong passion. The one for the human being and the brain. Since then she is a strong advocate of human centred technology focusing on improving human experience and quality of life building technology that supports this purpose.
