Session: Intentional Career Progression

The number of women in tech has been in steady decline since 2018, with even more women leaving the field since the onset of the pandemic. In this session, Executive Coach Ali Levin, who is on a mission to see more women in tech get promoted into leadership positions, will share her career growth model. We will take a deep dive into how to build a career strategy which includes understanding what is in your control and your sphere of influence in developing your expertise, how to maximize your reputation, why building and leveraging relationships is critical, and strategies for staying resilient and cultivating an abundant mindset.

Key Takeaways

  • Participants will walk away with a clear model for how to progress their careers based on expertise, visibility and relationships, including:
  • how to ask for and receive high profile and high value work
  • how to communicate with confidence and to influence
  • how to lean into relationships and build strategic allies
  • how to mange your energy and practice emotional agility
