It’s never too late to pivot in your careerI’m perhaps the poster child of complete shift in career direction.
I spent most of my career in top-tier investment banks. Then Onfido took a chance on me… I joined Applied Science as an intern (!)
I recently got promoted. So my suggestion - follow your heart, don’t look back. Take a single leap of faith towards your dream, and you’ll find the Universe sends support along the way.

Education -First degree in Mechanical Engineering (only girl across 3 year batches - ratio 270 boys to 1 girl ie me).
Studied on Scholarship at London Business School - Masters in Mathematical Finance.
IIM Bangalore - Finance & Systems.
Experience -
17 yrs across Deutsche Bank, Barclays Capital Investment Bank and then JPMorgan Chase in London.
Complete career pivot - Joined Onfido as Applied Research Science Intern in Dec 2019. Recently got promoted.
Mother to a 16-year-old girl. Also have eldercare responsibilities.
Avid scuba diver and traveller. Love to cook and have friends and colleagues over - to share stories and experiences!
