Session: How digital transformation should drive the energy transition
The world faces an urgent challenge. How does it tackle climate change and move to a net-zero emissions energy system while also meeting the growing demand for energy? Technology has a critical role to play and innovation in digital and AI is key to help us make the massive changes needed.
Digital technologies can make it possible to design and operate entirely new energy systems at the device, plant and regional scales – transforming the carbon footprint of these industrial processes;
they can provide the tools and mechanisms for optimising the energy efficiency of operations and enabling the sharing economy;
they can enable more accurate greenhouse gas emissions tracking and transparent reporting across supply chains; and
can also enable more effective monitoring of carbon offsets.
- Commit yourself to the new transformation era and help the ecosystem to accelerate the roadmap
Graduated in Geological Sciences, I have been working for 30 years in the ICT sector, now better known as the "digital" sector in consultancy firms such as Ernst & Young and AT Kearney, software and hardware vendors such as Microsoft, Sun Microsystems and Oracle, in drafting IT strategic plans and finally in their implementation. As part of the Wister network (Women in smart and intelligent territories) I have been involved in promoting the study of STEM towards the female world, towards young women: I participated in the drafting of the ebook "YES_We STEM" https://www.statigeneralinnovazione .it/online/yes-we_stem/.
Since 2017 I become Head of the Insurance Market and of the main Italian Banks in Indra Italia. I also collaborates with Insurtech Poleecy, an instant insurance platform, for micropolicies subscribed exclusively from "mobile".
