Session: From Compliance to Confidence: Leading Data De-Identification and Privacy Innovation in the Cloud Era
In the age of cloud-native platforms and AI-driven analytics, organizations are unlocking unprecedented opportunities to innovate with data. But with it comes the risk of exposing sensitive information if privacy is mishandled. The challenge isn’t whether we use data, it’s how we protect it responsibly while keeping it useful.
This session explores how data de-identification and privacy-by-design practices can be embedded into modern cloud and DevSecOps pipelines. From tokenization and anonymization to emerging AI-driven techniques, we will examine how enterprises can safeguard personal information while still enabling collaboration, research, and digital transformation at scale.
This session will highlight both the opportunities and pitfalls of de-identification. As part of this talk, I will also introduce a practical framework for embedding de-identification into cloud and AI strategies, designed to make privacy a core enabler of innovation and trust, rather than an afterthought.
