Session: Its not about winning the race, but about finding your pace

Climbing the corporate ladder , this is a familiar phrase many of us have heard ,aimed or been told many times in our careers. Some of us are already in the trial and some of us have reached the destination. Now imagine those days where you felt that something is missing in my job .You being part of a great team or environment ,still you feel something is wrong.
Many times people are unhappy in a particular career or role because they are going with the flow and don’t have a clue what to do about it or how to shift the gears. It is mainly because of an established life routine or because of a balanced family life they are already leading which they are afraid to break. Sometimes it could even be the inner critique within ourselves who stops us by saying it’s too late to change.
In my 18 years of corporate life ,I have changed my career trajectories and have taken breaks . There were days or even months were I knew this is not what I want , but couldn’t do anything about it. In my session I will talk about the learnings and experiences I had about changing career path , overcoming the fears and the pros and cons of this shift. I will also be sharing how can you reflect and take those little steps to scale back your ambitions .

Key Takeaways

  • Learn to overcome the fear of career transition
  • Know how to reflect on your career
  • Understand the pros and cons you can expect during this change
