Bio

Aruna Narayanan, Principal Software Architect, Science & Technology Organization
As a Principal Software Architect in GE Healthcare’s Science and Technology organization, Aruna currently leads the architectural and engineering efforts in building a common Patient Data Store on cloud that can ingest, process and store Hospital Patient data, to be consumed by multiple Cloud Applications in GEHC. Before this, she worked on GEHC’s Edison AI platform that can build and deploy AI models at scale and successfully contributed to deploying multiple AI solutions on GEHC devices, on premise and on cloud. She has collaborated across multiple GE Healthcare businesses to enable their digital transformation and speed of execution while consuming the Edison AI platform solution.

Sabitha Donapati, Sr. Director Engineering Life Cycle, Maternal Infant Care, Patient Care Solutions
Sabitha is a Senior Engineering Director in the GE HealthCare Patient Care Solutions business where she develops the strategies for lifecycle engineering in terms of product quality, customer satisfaction opportunities and adhering to compliance requirements for Maternal Infant Care portfolio. Sabitha has been with GE HealthCare for about 9 years and has demonstrated success in a variety of Engineering and cross-functional leadership roles. Before her tenure at GE HealthCare, she accumulated nearly 15 years of experience at GE, spanning Aviation and Power businesses. Throughout her career, she spearheaded various roles, ranging from Design Engineer to Senior Engineer, Engineering Functional Management, and DFSS Black Belt roles.

Lu Lu, Sr. Director Product Management, Science & Technology Organization
With more than 16 years’ experience with healthcare providers, payers, and consumers, Lu brings deep expertise in clinical operations, healthcare analytics, human centered design, and B2B GTM strategy. At GEHC, Lu focuses on Command Center, an enterprise hospital operations product used to optimize capacity, resourcing, and hospital efficiency. Prior to GEHC, Lu worked in the healthcare verticals of Amazon and AWS driving growth of direct to consumer clinical products and digital front door solutions for providers.  Previously, Lu was Head of Product at Prealize Health, a machine learning analytics company that served payers and has held positions with BayHealth (a UCSF / JMH co-venture) and the Chartis Group (a healthcare consulting firm serving providers).  Lu has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UCLA and a master’s degree in Public Health from Harvard School of Public Health. 

Sheila Washburn, Sr. Product Management Manager, Ultrasound
Sheila is a Senior Product Manager in the GE HealthCare Ultrasound business where she guides new technology development into successful products for patients and the business. Sheila has been with GE HealthCare for 34 years, where she started her career as part of the Edison Engineering Development Program. In her previous role as Senior Digital Product Manager in the Magnetic Resonance business, she successfully developed and launched numerous AI applications that improve the quality of MRI images, reduce patient scan time, and simplify scanner workflow.
