Bio
Security Engineer Ashwini specializes in areas such as Security Architecture, Application Security, and Cloud Security. She is currently with the Product and Application Security Office at DELL Technologies to provide leadership and strategic direction to Secure Design and Threat Modeling Services to enable implement SDL and Shift Security Left. As a Senior Principal Product Security Advisor, she is also involved in conceptually validating security architecture for Data Protection Suite of products from legacy EMC so as to identify necessary security controls to build products that are resilient to attacks.
Ashwini has also been instrumental in providing essential guidance to build secure solutions to address current cyber security problems like recovery from ransomware attacks, supply chain security and inculcating privacy by design.
In short, Ashwini has been innovating the way organizations design their products and applications securely inline with the trends and problems of the current ecosystem.
As a Security Influencer, Ashwini is part of various industry forums like OpenSSF, NullCon, SAFECode, CSA and many more. She is also an evangelist for diversity & inclusion and is a mentor on various forums like EWF, WomeninTech and WiCyS.
